Watch & Learn

In order to help perpetuate the traditional style of Hawaiian slack key, players need access to kupuna, their music, and the environment of this music.  This can be accomplished through clinics, workshops, retreats, as well as annual artist-in-resident programs.
Family music passed down from one generation to the next through the oral tradition, learning slack key is a "watch and learn" experience.
